Hi,

I dont really know a great deal about what requirements (memory, processor, disk space etc) are needed for an alternative OS runnig on a Palm device, however, I really like the ideas put forward to develop Linux on the UX. Could this also be done for Windows (the mobile version that is)? Is it simply that fact that Windows has a different licence (well, you need to pay for it) that affects any development of this?

actually, i think back in the day of the sony nz90, i have read someone put win98 on it and running without sound. I cant remember the detail, but it is possible. Especially with the much better now aday hardware compare to nz90.

Unfortunately, no. The program you saw was a spoof of Win 98.

I'd type a longer response, but IE in WinPE keeps on crashing, I'll post more once I format, and reinstall. Should be good to go for about 15 minutes.
