Been trying out the various launchers and liked YiShow. Have the demo and everything works well. Would like to purchase it from Handango, but see no place to add a registration #. How can I be sure of what I'm getting when I purchase it?
Also, can I just install it over the demo?
YiShow doesn't use a registration number to make the demo into the full version. After you purchase it, you will be given an URL to download the full version. Make sure to save your purchase info so you will be able to download future upgrades.
I think you can just install the registered version over the demo, that way all of your preferences will be saved.
Oh, one more thing I forgot to mention: If you haven't already done so, give ZLauncher a try before buying any other launcher, I know from experience.
As a note, ZL takes a little longer to get a good feel for its capabilities and flexability.

Agreed: ZLauncher can take a little getting used to, but it *IS* a mistake to install and immediately dismiss it. Install ZLauncher, then play with the options some... you won't be sorry.
When I'd first installed ZLauncher, I wasn't too impressed - but when I started fiddling with it, I *LOVE* it.
IMHO, of course. :)

I also agree. I registered YiShow after first using it. Within a couple of weeks I had discovered ZLauncher and registered it the next day. Jamester is right, it took me a little time of using ZLauncher before I fell in love with it.

You guys are too hard. :) I loved and bought ZL within an hour of first trying it. Never looked back...

I say go with Yishow!
The reason I like Yishow is because for me it is stable (ver. 5.3), fast, easily skinnable, and very intuitive for me. To me, Yishow is what the original standard Launcher should have been.
Take this for example: to switch between folders, I simply press the jog dial in, it brings up a list of my folders, then I scroll to the folder I want to go to, click, and i'm in that folder.
I tried Zlauncher for 3 days, trying to force myself to like it, but I couldn't. Switching between folders seemed like I had to either tap on the folder tab, or click the jog dial like 4 times to get to the folder i want (each click switches folders) To me this is a big deal as it slows down terribly one handed operation of my TG50.
Also, I do wish Yishow would be updated, but tell you the truth, verision 5.3 is perfect for me. ZLauncher seems to be updating every 2 weeks, and on the newest version, I found it buggy already. Tabs would be displaced, leaving blotches of missing color or missing icons. hard to explain, while it did not affect the performance of Zlauncher, it did disappoint me, cuz a thought came to my mind: "why the heck update every 2 weeks when every 2 weeks Zlauncher STILL comes out with bugs and then needs to be REupdated in another 2 weeks.
Try both, maybe you'll like Zlauncher.
I'm just saying that I don't. I do find Megalauncher much more stable and intuitive to use than Zlauncher though. Almost made me buy it...but I am not for Launcher tabs at all. I like the Yishow interface better.

Did play with it for couple of days - just don't like the design nor the symbols. At least YiShow came up with a skin I could read. I don't like tabs, either.
