OK, so I really like my new NZ-90, but I do have a problem with the available software for mapping and GPS. None of the shareware or freeware GPS stuff works with Bluetooth (I have the Socket Blutooth GPS) yet (I guess I have to be patient!). For commercial stuff I have tried both StreetfinderPDA and Mapopolis. StreetfinderPDA isn't Bluetooth compatible and the maps draw excruciatingly slowly anyway. Mapopolis seems to be OK, but I have tried to make it give me directions across four Michigan counties and it keeps failing. I get error 104 or "No route found". Does anyone else have this combination of hardware and software and has had better luck? The menubar in Mapoplois keeps disappearing on me too.

Cheers

Here's a BT GPS compatible app you can try: PathAway (http://www.pathaway.com)

I'm testing a pre-release version of v3.0 and should provide a review soon.

Funny, I was able to afford the $35 for Mapopolis, but not the $350 for the BT GPS.... I think $35 for Mapopolis is a great deal, 1 year subscription to all the counties in all of the US and it's territories.

I thought this forum was for constructive discussion about the Clie and not sniping sarcasm. If you are paying $350 for the GPS receiver you are not a smart shopper. Please refrain from saying anything if you have nothing useful to say.
