I recently got the WL100(when it was on sale at BB). I remembered reading a thread on here as to using a CF adapter to use the WL100 in a laptop as a wifi card. I searched the threads but came up with nothing. If anyone has done this, please let me know. Can I just get any PCMCIA adapter and use the WL100 with it or do I need a specific model? Any help will be much appreciated!!!!!!

Try this thread:

I've successfully installed the WL100 in my notebook and used it on several networks.

You can find the Intel drivers for the card on your laptop here:

The driver is NOT for Win XP, for other OS's go to Intel.

It's a shame that shipping costs so much. An $8.44 Sandisk CF adapter ends up costing $14 by the time shipping is added on.Not that it's all that expensive, but I hate paying double for something.........
