Metal or Plastic??!!

For all of you who are salivating at Palm's newest little WiFi gem, I just learned that the entire case is made of plastic.

This may not be a biggie for some, but after you hold a Sony product made out of metal, you know you are holding quality. It will be hard to wait (I know it will be for me), but just wait and see what Sony's next NX replacement will be like.

Where are the rumors!!! Come on Sony, surely you wouldn't sit back and let Palm have the next big thing!

The new Tungsten C looks nice, but lacks a graffiti area. The former TT was/ is far more better. Why do I need 400MHz? And a mono-earphone plug???

No, Sony is usually pretty tight-lipped. We know it's coming as Sony has dropped the prices on the NX's, sometime in May is my guess.

I ordered an NX yesterday, then I saw the Zire 71 today, and I had second thoughts. The Zire is cheaper, has the same camera, and updated OS. Then I realized I could never go back to only a 320X320 screen, much cooler design and wi-fi. I love the clamshell, it's like having a built in hard shell case. Once I have it in hand I will buy the CF driver and all my apprehensions will be subsided. Life will be good.

The future one will probably not have a CF slot.

I disagree, as the CF slot is used in the Japanese Clies for a variety of stuff. Plus Sony is putting out the new WL110 WiFi 802.11 card.
