New Drivers!

Don't know if anybody has posted this already - if not what a shame! But get the new drivers for MS Pro and some other patches here:

Now if somebody can loan me $499 so I can buy a 1GB MS I can finally watch a whole movie! AND have room for some MP3s ;)

I have a 512MB MSPro and have a full movie (Office Space), about 15 mp3's, and tons of software and I still have almost 150MB free!
How? Try converting your DVD's using DVDx then use the Image Converter software that came with your Clie.

Sorry, I can't help for the $499, but a 100 minutes movie will fit in above 350M. If you encode it any rate higher than 350kbps. it will only result in drop frame.

By the way, I can't find any improvement of the new pro driver! Any one know what it fixed?

Hey I downloaded DVDx and was all fired up to see how big the files are so I can atleast put part of it on my 128 stick. But it keeps on failing saying it can't init. the Decoder. I have the cheapest DVD drive known to man... could this be the problem or is there any other freeware DVD ripping software out there?

Has anyone tried these updates on a European TG50? It's just that the sony website tells you that they've only to be installed on US TG50's.
