I found that my cousin's N series Clie have much faster MS reading speed than my SJ22, does the N series really have faster reading speed or it's my Clie's problem?

I'm pretty sure the SJ22 is slower at MS speed, so what you're seeing may not be abnormal.

The SJ series is known for having slow MS transfer speeds, although I've never encountered them on my SJ30, overclocked or not.

The sole exception being the SJ33, which is pretty good. I think Sony beefed it up for the SJ33 because people are more likely to beshuttling large files (mp3's)

I timed SJ33 transfer speed at approx 500Kbytes/sec.

I just want to point out the word "Beshutting" was used in this forum.

I started another thread regarding MS speeds, which didn't generate much input from others...

I have found that there is a speed difference between brands of MS (not just between CLIE models). I want to know if anybody else has seen this too... Any comments?

Sounds like a word, don't it! I actually mean to say "be shuffling" I think. When I read your post, I was wondering who the heck would use that word.

The beshuttling to a memory stick occurs at 500kb/second.

Oh absolutely. I just added that word to my vocabulary permanently. Thanks!
