Music transfer problems

I am trying to put music on my TH55, via data import. I just purchased a sandisk 512 MB memory stick pro(blue). The files are on the stick, but it appears that the audio player doesn't recognize them. I ripped songs with WMA into mp3 format.
I also have a lexar memory stick and have not had any problems.
Any help would be appreciated...

It's a bit funky the way you need to get it on the system:

1) Make sure the MP3 is encoded at 44.1kHz and Constant Bit Rate (CBR) - Mono/Stereo and the actual bitrate are up to you (Anything above 32kbps should work)
2) Copy the MP3s to \PALM\Programs\MSAUDIO on the MemoryStick

That should do it.

So, the same files that play on the Lexar DON'T work on the SanDisk? Hmm, are they ATRAC files?

Thanks. I persisted until I figured out my problem. I was moving the entire cd over as a file. I discovered it worked if I moved each song individually.
