Lan connection w nx60

help please...Own an nx60. Have wirelsss system in house that is hooked to desktop so I can access laptop wirelessly. I did the installation of the palm desktop on the laptop(not directly connected to the wireless router) then the install of the wl100 software(on the laptop) Did a soft reset, put the cf lan card in the nx60, went through the settings under preferences/nework, Then connected. It says connected. CF card flashes green. downloaded netfront and webpro. They also connected(no errors popped up) but I get nothng when i put in a web site. I tried basic sites like cnet, etc...The bars on the top right float up and down showing activity but nothing happens. any suggestions. The signal is good to very good all over my house.

Try turning off Powersave mode... it affects the speed drastically

What OS is your PC running?

What kind of wireless router, does it have 54G?

Who is your ISP and how do you connect to the internet?

What setings did you use?

Comcast (cable modem)
the only setting i didnt have was the ssid#. called dlink and tech support took me to their web site and got the ssid#. it was "default"
