Microdrives are cool. I have the 1g, the 4 would be a nice addition. Something about a tiny drive appeals me more then a CF flash card.

so it is not flash memory..it's micro drive which would take too much power out of our Clie..

yep, it's quite cool with the microdrives, fast speed access, but then speed vs. power consumption, battery drainage are a pain in the neck.:D

power drain yes. But being able to unload my 5MP photos (taken with my sony 717) from ms pro sticks to one large 4GB drive (when the CF driver works the kinks out of the microdrives) while on vacation is very nice indeed. This will have to do until Sony comes out with those promised 32GB ms pro sticks in a few years.
