I have a 512 mb cf card from PQI. It was working very well until I reformated it on my laptop. Now, it won't work with the Clie and the Clie Cf driver. Is there anyway to fix this?

VERIFY the format type, is it FAT32 or FAT? (I think properties should be able to ID this)

I HAVE that card & HAVE NOT had any problems, BUT my cards are 'FAT' formated.

*tho some I think have said there has been some success with FAT32... but I don't think THIS particular card was mentioned.

I had the same problem with my 128 generic card, I formatted it with FAT32 and got the error. So I reformatted it with FAT and it was able to read the card again. Some cards may work with different formats others may not. Try formating it in FAT with windows and see if the driver loads it.

As stated above make sure its formated using FAT, and do NOT try to format cards in the clie as it will prolly cause a lock up. Its not yet supported.

Why not using the card info to format it? It's is more proper way for clie to recognise your CF card.

It doesn't work, you can change the card name, format no.
