Any valid reasons NOT to get the T|T3 ROM update?

I know IT ppl have held off on things like upgrading from win2k to winXP, or from winXP SP1 to winXP SP2. Does this also hold water with the T|T3 ROM update? My backup T|T3 still does NOT have the update. I figured even tho I'm likely to go through w/it anyways, may as well hear what the public has to say bef doing someth irreversible.

Isn't that the one that if you don't have, your SD cards get fried? My T3 came with the update already installed, so no upgrade for me, but if you don't have it yet, might want to look into it. Better safe than sorry.

i thinks if you do a backup previousely of update there no real problem recovering backup after the update anyway the update is for the stuff on the rom and the backup software only do the ram backup

my sugestion is to do a backup on SD after that run the updater, restore the backup from your sd
after this copy the directory of your sd to you PC using a cardRead or a software like cardexport and format your SD card with your palm and recopy the file from your pc to your SD that ways your update and everything work like it was before :D

The only thing it does is keep you from frying an SD card >64MB. No reason not to install it.
