View Full Version : Can't sync with Outlook 2003 - Intellisync (full) stops responding

I'm looking for some help, input or theories regarding an issue that has recently come up for our users.

Basic info: all users are on Win XP Pro w/ SP2. All have been somewhat recently (last 6 months) upgraded to Office 2003. All are using TH55s and the full version of Intellisync 4.1. None of the users use the Palm Desktop.

The problem is this: first the users get error messages when they sync and the sync fails. In trying to reconfigure Intellisync (by deselecting and then reselecting the program its syncing with- has worked in the past with Office 2k) to use MS Outlook, it stops responding.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Intellisync & Palm Desktop, soft resets and hard resets on the TH55s. No matter what I've done, I cannot get them to sync anymore.

I've done everything that I can think of except edit the registry.

Why is this happening now? Is editing the registry my only option? What if that doesn't work?

Any ideas?

Download a trial of Chapura's PocketMirror, uninstall Intellisync on one of your PCs, and experience the better Outlook syncing solution! ;)

I gave up on the higher priced, under-performing Intellisync several years ago.

What are the error messages?
Some of them require Registry editing...
