Can you be more specific? We're assuming you're using the NZ model, but which CF cards and which software are you using to open the zip file? Are you using CLIE Launcher to try to unzip a file inside the CF card? If you are, have you mounted the card?

hey, unregistered, i think you didn't follow... let me try...

do you have microsoft outlook? can you save the zip file attachment to a directory, and then try to open with winzip?

i'm assuming you checked the obvious, i.e. the file has the extension .zip? maybe you can rename the file to something else .zip? maybe your os didn't like the long file name...

in any case, try to save the email attachment to disk, and tell me what happens when you try to open it with winzip... you must get some message...

Yes, I have WinZip and I just downloaded a demo version of Turbo Zip and it still will not unzip the file; it says it is not a valid archive. It's a tgz file. Very long. Any ideas? Thanks!! I cannot even unzip the user's manual!

I do have WinZip-also tried Turbo Zip. Turbo Zip says it's not a valid archive. I can't unzip the file, period. It's a tgz file and very long. I can't even unzip the user's manual. The file was sent by Eruware. So, I have this file that simply will not open, unzip or anything!
Greg-thanks, you do understand what my problem is. unregistered-thanks anyway, I know you were trying to help.

Perhaps it needs to be downloaded again... I have not gone through the process of ordering the Driver (Btester)... but email support... the reason I say this is because WHEN I downloaded the FINAL version WINZip would not recognize the zip file (somehow it looked as if there was a LOT of traffic while downloading) so I re-downloaded and the zip worked fine.

Why does it have a tgz file extension? I thought this is a file extension of the Unix system, right? (or am I wrong ?_? )

What is your file name? If you are using a mac system pre OSX, long file names are a problem. Osx is unix based so that might be your problem.

Hi folks:
I e-mailed eruware, and they e-mailed me back all the files separately and told me to put it into a subdirectory (and I forget the rest). Up and running now . Don't know why it was tgz and not zip, and it was a bunch of extra steps, but at least seems to work now. Thanks everyone!
