I have tried to unzip a .gz file from backupdirectory but it appears to be invalid. The NVbackup takes away the fileending so i put it back manually
and hotsync it.

Backuplog:
- Invalid handheld file deleted: C:\Program\Palm\Evert\Install\Bejeweled2!.PRC

The only way I'm aware of restoring files made by NVBackup is with NVB. That said, the fact that trying to restore a portion of the files using NVB is sending you to a reset says that perhaps those files are corrupted? Or perhaps you're not getting all of the files needed for a particular app?

Could you provide which app/list of files you are trying to restore.

I just did a selective restore yesterday morning with NVB v1.13 and all went well, so I'm pretty sure the feature is working properly.

Im trying with standalone prc files, but now when i´m testing bejeweled is working. Very strange. Now i want to get back the PIM data for datebook, adresses, contacts and memos. There i suppose it will be harder to find them all. I also have agendus pro in the backup. But i dont want it back for the moment. Agendus files should be completley separate except for the data written in notes.

Thanks for your time!
