Did anyone see the new episode of JAG on CBS tonight. It was an episode where they are introducing a spinoff series from JAG about Naval investigators, maybe an new show next season. Anyway, in the first part of the show, one of the investigators used what looked like an NZ90, but you really didn't get a good look at it. But in the final part of the show, they are beaming between two of them, one in the interrogation room, the other behind a one way mirror. The close ups show it as a definite Clie NZ90 handheld. Kinda cool to see that this item is being used by a mainstream television show.

The woman on the blind side of the one way glass was beaming messages and questions to Mark Harmon doing the interview... then Harm caught on...

But did you see that lady BEATING on her screen? That Clie would be in tough shape after the abuse she was laying down.
It was great to see our device on TV though.

Wonder if they will be offering a special edition JAG NZ90 with the beefed up IR transmitter able to comfortably reach 10 feet including a dense oneway mirror coating, wonder that that does to the battery life...?

Since they are part of the Navy, my guess is they have a special milspec version of it. But it would be interesting to see how they use it. Since this was part one of two part show, be sure to tune in next week for the conclusion.

Maybe they mailed each other via Bluetooth? Most of the IR-spectrum is reflected by glass...

GO CLIE!!!

They used a Treo 300 on 24 and, while it's not a Clie, it is still a Palm OS device so partial credit!! Anything but PPC and I'm happy.

Bluetooth chat eh? I hope more handhelds come with bluetooth...when I'm in a mall or something I find myself doing random searches for bluetooth devices...hoping someone with a cell phone or PDA will walk by but so far nothing....nothing at all...talk about feeling lonely!

I saw it too -- cool! I love JAG, but I hated the way they killed Singer and the baby off though.

Alright lets get the story right.

In the final seen Mark Harmen is interviewing David James Elliott about them thinking that David James Elliott ( Harm" Rabb, Jr ) kill Singer, in the interview room Mark was recieving messages by the lady investageter behind a two way mirror. They both are using NZ90 with bluetooth and an sms message program ( I am still looking for that program ).

Consider that it was Hollywood smoke and mirrors... but in case it really was bluetooth, because it could in have been IR, I want that program also...
