Suggestions for a newbie...

I'm fairly new to this form and as a longtime STF member (sony talk forum on dpreview.com, owner of the f707), I find myself in a new forum with my brand new TG-50. I must say, it's an awesome machine as we all know. It could use some more RAM and ROM, but that's Palm controlling the market for ya.

Since it's been over three years since I've had my Palm Vx, I've been out of the loop and I'm looking for suggestions and opinions for:

Essential Software? What do you consider as essential and why should I get it? I'm medical student and plan on checking in the Medical Forum as well, but any suggestions here would be great.

Essential Hardware? I got the memory sticks as a result of my digicam, but what else??


Any good cases worthwhile?
Screen Protectors?
Stylus?
Does anyone have the battery extender? Is it any good? (it's cheap on eBay). 
How about the Arkon FM accessory? How do you connect mp3's to you car.
SA500 work on the TG-50?

I personally feel that Brando is a good screen protector!
If the battery extender is selling cheap and you feel that it does not hinder you while using the extender, I think it should be a thing to own it.

I think a case would be essential (if you are careless). A screen protector because if you don't have one, you would just spoil your CLIE. Stylus would be essential, but I'm sure you won't nd to worry to buy it is followed with the TG50.
