Thanks to many guides in this forum, I have added a mic inside my TX as shown in the picture below.

It works ok with the Voice Memo but sometimes (not always) there is some noise which sounds like from an old radio's volume.

I tried to add an RC filter(0.1uF and 10kohm) but no help so left only the mic.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

It looks like the metal body of the mic resting on that ground plate is probably a bad idea. Try insulating the mic; either with tape around the mic or tape on the ground plate. I don't know if anything uses the ground plate so be careful about covering it completely with tape; it's probably better just to wrap the mic in tape. BTW, thanks for the pic, I didn't know it was that easy. I think i'll try it myself. Have you done any long-term recording? I'm wondering if the battery can last for a 3-4 hour recording.

I don't know what your expecting, but an electret microphone (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electret_microphone) doesn't usually have the best noise floor.

bluetooth headset connectivity with palm = best mic + no annoying noise + no void warranty.
Someone should program such a program!!

Sounds like a battery killer to me. Keep it simple.

lol, y would u care about it being battery killer. the tx have all the battery i will need. No matter how much i use it, it will for sure last me one whole day.
BTW, i am a heavy user and most of the time i use wifi, so it will be all good.

streaming video over wifi kills battery of mine in 6 hours, even with dynamic clocking enabled and topping out at 200 mhz

But look at it this way, not everyone would be voice recording for 6 hours straight and it wouldn't hurt to try right? :P

Because I would use it to record lectures up to 3 hours long. If I start recording with a battery less than full it may not last that long.

I don't why but the noise has been getting worse today and now the noise is much louder than any recorded voice. I tried to change other mic but the same. I'm sure there was not problem with soldering. So I removed the mic. Funny thing is, now without mic, Voice Memo still record and play the noise. I'm afraid I ruined something, but my TX is still working fine except the mic..... ?!#@%!@#$%!$

Yea, I stopped using my mic because it has a small range that it can pick up before it sounds terrible. You can't talk to loud near it or it just sounds terrible.

I haven't tried it with my replacement TX though so let me see.

EDIT: Actually my mic sounds great but it still can't handle loud sounds near it. I used the mic from a broken UX :)

I think soldering a mic to the palm is too much work. I think it's best just to buy an external mic and use it when you need to.
