I am planning on getting the mp3 adapter for my SJ20; so I can listen to music while I am on the hill snowboarding. I am looking for a case for it in case I fall I don't want to wreck my Clie...does anyone have any comments on first turning my SJ20 into an mp3 player and secon protecting it from getting banged up...thanks

Get a hard case for sure. I broke my SJ20 while skateboarding. I got a nasty charlie horse from my CLIE. OTOH, it was a great reason to buy a SJ33!

Re: the MP3 adapter, as far as I know you just buy it, and use it! It does plug into the connector of your CLIE, which may impact how it fits in a case. If you buy a hard case that allows hotsyncing I think you should be okay.

For almost the same price as the MP3 adapter, you can get a dedicated 128MB Flash MP3 player that would be a lot more durable.

the OtterBox 3600 is a good choice. it is waterproof and it has a place where you can feed the wires out the bottom.

go to
http://www.otterbox.com
and click on "Armor By Otter" on the side

where do you get one of those? how much do they run? i just bought an SJ20 but am wondering if I should have sprung for an SJ33 for the MP3 ability, but then it seemed like it would need a memory stick and suddenly cost 200 dollars more. how man ysongs does 128 hold? and can it hold anything else, like Word documents?
