CF Driver & Clie Camera

Just wondering if anyone else has this problem. I have the CF driver masquerading a ms and everything seems to be working okay except for Clie Camera. It gives me the following error when I try to take a snapshot:

"The storage space of the Memory Stick media card is full."

Video recording works okay except when I end the recording it gives me a fatal error, but still keeps the recording. I'm using a generic 128mb CF card.

I think your answer is found in the file called "Known Issues.rtf"

It says:

CompactFlash Drivers for Sony Clie

Known Issues

1. Clie crashes when saving a movie in movie recorder when in MS Masquerading mode.
2. Playing MP3s from CF card in the background makes apps less responsive than the MemoryStick.
3. Cards cannot be formatted on the Clie (the feature is not yet supported).
4. There is a slight screen jitter when there is prolonged access to the CF card, especially in slow mode.
5. Some users report movies freezing when played off the CompactFlash card. This does not seem to be related to the size of the movie.
6. MS Import requires the CF card to either be unmounted or the MemoryStick to be removed and reinserted.
7. The camera application will not save images to the CF card.
8. The latest version of Clie Viewer does not work with the CF driver not in MS Masquerading mode. The old Clie Viewer does not have this issue.

:rolleyes: Duhhh.. Thanks for pointing out the text file. I guess I was wayyyyy to excited to be using the driver than to read through the material *slaps forehead*. Thanks for your reply.

i had the same problem....i guess it pays to read the documentation.

on another note, regarding the formatting of the CF on the Clie. I've managed to do it with the standard launcher.....
