As I mentioned in previous posts, I have been a Palm user for 3 years, and just recently switched to Sony, I have a Clié NX70V, and I love the unit. However I miss the “note pad” application. (I don’t think that anyone needs explanation about the “note pad“ application, but, just in case, it works like sticky notes where I would scribble on the screen in free hand a note for quick reminders of what I needed to do and put alarms to it. Also it synchronizes with palm Desktop)

So I am looking for a note pad replacement for OS 5, with alarms. If possible that would be able to sync with desktop or moved from the handheld to any other application on desktop i.e. Microsoft Paint (.bmp format)

I tried so far:

“Diddle bug” their alarm does not help much
“Sketcher” So far the best I’ve found. Even tough the notes could be transported to Microsoft Paint Program, is not High Res, and it’s a pain to even understand what you are writing.

And I also had suggested "BugMe!" before in response to one of your posts, I think. It too has alarms and a desktop application, HiRes+ and you can write on screen :).

Bug me is great and it replaces the much missed palm 515 option of setting alarms to memos. As well I like to have the oooption, when reading web clippings that I want to remember later being able to copy a clip from Isolo or handstory to my internal memory and setting an alarm to make me reread it later so I act on it.
