So, let's say I have a 700p. $500 phone, right? (79 on ebay with 2 year contract)

Now, let's say I saw something like EQO (www.eqo.com) and have Skype for Palm OS now.

Let's also say I'm paying $30/month for a Sprint plan that gives me free calling after 7 and 200 anytime minutes. Let's also say I'm getting Sprint's Power Vision Plus Pack for $20/month.

Skype. I get a number for one year for about $40-$50. SkypeOut is 2 cents to China and the US.

Conclusion?

Does this mean that I get to have a phone connected 24/7 to the internet and with Skype, I get free incoming calls, 200 anytime minutes, free calling on weekends and after 7pm, free Skype calls to other Skype people, cheap Skype Out $ for 2 cents per extra minute, AND 2 telephone numbers, one for personal use and one for business use, all on the same phone? !!!

Not to mention, this comes at the price of:
$360/yr calling plan
$50/yr Skype #
$240/yr internet plan.
$104 [20 SkypeOut Minutes/day*260 [52 weeks * 5 days] days]

That's $1600 over the course of 2 years, which is $66.16/month and you get all of the above? I think it's amazing. . .

Someone please tell me this is possible. :D

There are actually a few VOIP apps out there for the Palm OS now so you may even be able to get rid of the Skype costs.

Awesome. But I would still need the Skype number though. So with these, it's like $50/month. Wow. :)
