A few weeks a go, I hard reset my palm to get a fresh start because it was really unstable, but the main reason was because for some odd reason I couldn't send anything via bluetooth but I could recieve.
When I hard reset my TX, bluetooth worked fine, until recently I had the same problem. With NVbackup I was able to track out what program had conflict with my bluetooth.
It turns out it was Uncache.
When I got rid of Uncache I can send things via bluetooth fine.
Has anyone else had this problem?
My palm cant live without Uncache too. It's a shame. :/

I can't speak for Dmitry, but it would seem it would be as easy as adding one of the bluetooth files to your UC list.

I just looked and there are only 3 files (AFAIK). They are:

Bluetooth Device Cache
BlueTooth Prefs Backup
BlueTooth Trusted Devices

If I had to guess I would say only the last one really mattered. Try adding that to your UC list and see what happens.

As far as I know you can't.

But you can try downloading

BTServer (http://whizoo.com/apps/btserver.php)

and

BTSerialPro (http://whizoo.com/apps/btserial.php)

and adding them to the list.

Actually, the issue is with the program that announces send/receive to the OS. This problem came up right after UnCache was released; I can't recall the app that fixed the problem, but it might have been Applications or Blazer (ick).

You can try running CleanPrefs, it will delete all the Exchange Manager-related Unsaved preferences.

Download here: http://www.4shared.com/file/20510430/5256c614/cleanPrefs.html

I had this problem too, and this program helped a lot...

PS: when you select 'delete' in this app, it will ask you if you want to reset your device now, always select 'yes'.

Yeah I'm suffering with exactly the same problem, I've had to disable uncache because it was so bad. I use TT6 quite a lot, and a i bluetooth sync every day - I found that maybe 30-50% of the time I needed to reset the TX to restore bluetooth :( Is cleanprefs a fire & forget app, or is it just like me reseting my app as is? I'd really like a clean way to run dbcache & bluetooth together.

Any thoughts Dmitry?

Duncan.
