Is there a way I can remove apps I dont use from my TG50? I want to free up some RAM space.

Can I just simply do a hard reset and choose what to install and what to omit, just the way I can with a PC?

Thanks!

After a hard reset, you can choose what you wish to install / omit. You cannot, typically, choose to uninstall whatever is installed in the ROM (software that comes built-in).

Are you new to Clie? If removing apps is what you want, you can simply push the menu button and choose "Delete Programs" to delete the apps you don't want.

Of course, sometimes situations may be a little bit complicated. Some programs have to be disabled first before you can delete it, and some are copy-protected. For the latter case, you have to use some other programs like "Filez" (freeware) or "FileMan" (shareware) to change the attributes of the program/data files before you can delete them.

Doing a hard reset will delete ALL your program and data. If that's not what you want, don't do that.

Not all apps can be deleted that way. ROM apps like PhotoStand, CLIE Viewer all cannot be deleted.
