Dictionary for PalmOS 4.1

Are there any free dictionaries out there for PalmOS 4.1?  I'm search for an inexpensive to free one, preferably free.

If you have TomeRaider, there's a lot of free dictionaries and encyclopedias on their website.

Thanks guys, I am currently using Mobimate's reader with the Franklin Thesaurus that came on my Clie CD.

A question about Noah Lite...the website says it doesn't work on Memory Stick media, how about if I use MSMount?

Didn't try MSMount, but that's one reason I abandoned Noah and plunked out the cash for MS Dict Pro. Noah's OK but I love MS Dict Pro. It's one of my most used apps. Even if Noah could be made to run off the MS, I wouldn't regret paying for it. :)

While Noah Lite is free and will run off the stick with MS Mount, you still need somewhere between 3 and 4 MB free RAM to run it from the stick with the large dictionary. I did this for months under PiDirect II before I finally ran out of RAM and went with MS Dict Pro, which is a great program with an excellent dictionary database. Sorry I waited so long...

I also recommend MS Dict Pro Bundle. I have been using it for about a week now and I love the interface and the hi-res+ support. It seems to have the most features of any dictionary program I have found. Kind of expensive though so if you don't want to spend 40 bucks for it, try MiD. This program is very fast when searching a dictionary on the card. The program itself is 20 bucks but the dictionaries are free. The only con is that I didn't like the dictionaries they had.

I got Noah Lite to work off the MS using MSMount. I put Noah Lite program itself on the internal memory (96K) and I put the dictionary bundles on the MS and mounted the directory they were in to MSMount. Worked great, just the big dictionary is naturally slow being off the memory stick and all, so I use the medium one.

Pocket Lingo looks pretty good asthetically and feature wise, but it's $13-15 depending on whether or not you want a quizzing feature. it also seems to only use the american heritage office edition library. Brian

I use PocketLingo's Finance Dictionary and like the UI. They are also going to make them HiRes soon:)

I've just finished trying pocket lingo...it's really well laid out and easy to use. The UI has a handy back button. Different word forms are given (such as the noun, verb, and adjective forms of a word). The quiz feature is neat, but I've yet to figure out the progress meter. It's pretty full fledged...I'm gonna shop around a bit more, but I think I found the one I want to buy. Brian
