Unanticipated problem with CF driver

Now that I've got 8 hours of music on my Clie, it's obvious that Clie's audio player seriously lacks a good Playlist function. I wish I had a way to sort through all these tracks and play a certain set of music.

Is this one of those areas that Sony's lack of support prevents 3rd parties from designing a useful playlist feature?

Actually, a playlist editor would be pretty simple as Sony uses the XML similar M3U playlist format used by Winamp and Sonique.

For now, you can just open the M3U file in a text editor and sort the entries manually

Yeah, the play list function is to play to the whole list. Whether a 3rd party app could be written is beyond my knowledge, but I believe it's more of Sony's lack of support.
