Hi,

I finally decided to move from 512 MB to 4GB...
It is nice to have such a bunch of memory. The only Problem is: I can't delete files from the Card using the TX.

The file doesn't show up any more after deleting, but the free memory on the SD-Card doesn't increase.

It doesn't change which program I'm using. (Mc File, Resco Explorer 2.70.0, Zlauncher)

Furthermore it takes ages to delete a file.

Can anybode reproduce this Problem?

Files can be deleted, but the delete speed is extremely slow.... I've found that with my 4GB SD card I need to delete files using my PC via Card Reader.... If you run VFSmark you'll probably find that the delet speed is around 15-20% while most other speeds are around 400-1200%. I'm not sure why this is.

do I understand it correctly that the size of the free memory is calculated correctly on your TX?
I am pretty sure that the file is not visible any more, but the displayed size of the free memory is not correct any more.

Put the SD card in a card reader. Hook it up to your PC. Copy all the folders and files to a temporary folder on your PC. Then format your SD card. (Remember to set FAT32.) Copy back all the folders and files. See if that fixes the problem. Sometimes the SD card is not formatted properly. Sometimes some poorly written PDA program would mess up the file structure on the SD card.
