Hi, one of my users has a Palm v synchronising with Palm desktop. I have managed to get the contacts data from the Palm into Palm Desktop but each sync after that corrupts the database. It renames the address.dat file to address.001.dat. and when trying to open Palm Desktop it gives and error message saying "failed to open Contacts database a new empty database has been created"
I can rename the address.001.dat to address.dat and then reopen Palm Desktop ok. But it does this after every synchronisation.

The Palm V uses Address Book, not Contacts... make sure the Address Book conduit in HotSync Manager is set to "Synchronize the files" and the Contacts conduit is set to "Do Nothing" as default.
