Hi,
I really like my TG50/U but since I use it it runs unstable ;-( Still did not figure out why the hack it is like that. Mostly twice a day or more often it simply locks up. I have to do a soft reset and everythink is fine again. Don't know why. I tried everything (almost ;) I reinstalled the device about 4 times with different approaches. Maybe its one of my favorite apps or just the TG50?
So I just wanted to ask if one of you have the same problem.
I am running from RAM:
ZLauchner 3.01
DateBK 5.0c pD
SuperNames 2.1b6
BtToggle 1.6b5
AcidImage 2.6
HandyShopper
SplashID
McPhling 5
and some other apps ;-)
Any ideas? ;-)

when you say it freezes, does it display any errors? if so, can you put it here so that we can see it? also, i read that there is an app that can "catch" the errors to help you pinpoint the offending app. do a search in the forums...i believe I read about it here.
anyone out there can help out?

BT toggle is your culprit.
The beta is unstable. Well for me, I found a bunch of lockups, especially logging onto myhome Bluetooth network. The solution for me: delete BT toggle beta, and wait for the final version. No unstability problems here. Good luck.
Oh yeah, also are you running AIM 1.1 by any chance. That will give you a TON of unstablility problems, especially if you log off your network connection without (before) signing off from AIM. If you are using AIm, delete it immediately and install Verichat. Way better looking, better interface, and much more stable. too bad for the $22 yearly subscription though...

Thanx yoyoYoo,
I will delete BtToggle and see if its better. Strange, that I never had problems while using BT or BT enabled apps. BTW: Does the author know that his program may be unstable? Hope he is already aware of it...

Hi,
no it's just freezing. No error messages (almost). Just ignoring every input... BTW yesterday I could not turn my TG50 on. It just did no react. Horrible! But after doing a reset (while it was off) and switching it on again it was back again. Puh ;-)

let us know about BT Toggle. I noticed that my tg50 seemed to lock up every now and then, especially in relation to wireless hotsyncs, or bluetooth network connections. After deleting bttoggle beta, my Tg50 is the most stable palm unit I have ever used! =)

For those facing problems with BTToggle, was it set as a Preference panel or running as an application?
On the author's website, he did state for Sony Clie's NOT to run as a preference pane, siting that there is a memory leak each time the main screen is entered.

No, it was set to run as an appl.
After removing BtToggle beta (installed 1.5 again) my TG50 runs stable till now. But I did not play alot with it today. Time will tell ;-)

Okay,
I removed BtToggle 1.6b5 and first I thought my TG50 runs more stable. But then the lockups came back. Not as often as before but still there. Therefore I removed ZLauncher and reinstalled LauncherX, Wassup 1.42 and BtToggle 1.6b5 and everything runs stable till now. IMHO ZLauncher 3.01 was the culprit. Not 100 % sure yet but almost ;-) Any thoughts?
