HELP!! I've had no problems with my T/X for months other than I have never, ever been able to recieve email. I perpetually get an error message that says: "There is a delay in server communication causing a timeout. Please try again." And I try again and get the same message. This continues ad nauseaum.
A guy at the Palm store said I had all of my settings correct, but he had no suggestions for me. The Palm support is non-existent.
I'm not a tech person. If someone could help me, it would make my whole month! This is horribly frustrating.
Thanks much,
Carol

Have you tried more than one account? I have several problems with gmail, but that one works from time to time...

Without providing more information on the email account such as which ISP or whether you are trying yahoo or hotmail (the latter of which require their premium product), I have no suggestions to offer.

Versamail sucks and gave me that problem but ever since I switched to Snapper it worked like snap.

I'm new to using my TX with WiFi. Has anyone wrote instruction to set up email accounts? Or any manual to use VersaMail? Charter is my ISP.
Thanks

User Guide is on the install CD. There is also an extensive Palm Knowledge Library at palm.com.

When you pop in the CD, one of the selections is to 'Set-up an Email Account' wizard.

Have you tried Palm, Inc.'s support page for Versamail:
http://www.palm.com/us/support/accessories/versamail/
Solution ID: 39211
Can't send an email message with VersaMail 3.x
Hope these help.

How easy is it to set up the T/X to use with a mobile phone? I used to try it with my late lamented TH55: you'd spend a half an hour on the phone talking to a technician who would dictate long strings for you to enter, and then you'd be able to access e-mail and the internet perhaps about once each before the phone and the TH55 stopped talking to each other. Is it yet possible to get a phone, put it next to your PDA and just use it, just like that, without any fuss or frustration?
