Lost (stolen) CD

Hi there..
My personal cd case was stolen!!! and all NX installation CD...
Any Ideas about how can i get all the sw?? I'm specially concerned about the drivers...

I bought my CLIE NX-60 brand new, and the driver CD i got in the box was bad. So i called the 1-800 number on the lid, and spent 1hr on the phone while the tech searched for the part #. They did fed-ex it out over night, and I got it 3 days later (didn't make sense to me neither). I'd have to suggest calling Sony for another. They don't offer the driver for download as it's integrated into the Palm Desktop, its really dumb if you ask me because the driver is useless without first buying a CLIE from Sony.

As soon as I got my CD I went straight to work ripping It for a friend who got his CLIE on eBay, If for some reason you can't get it from Sony, I will happily mail you the desktop bundled w/ the driver and MS import driver (NX60/70 only). The rest of the software is too big, and fairly useless in my opinion...

p.s. you have a brother named kevin by anychance ??

I have the same problem than april.
Don't you think that you should make a petition so to convince Sony to put his driver for download.
I told them that I was not very happy with their policy.
When your CD has been lost or stolen, you feel already bad enough so why are they asking us to buy another CD ?
It is a very bad customer policy.
Anyway, if you could help me, I would be very pleased.

Just an FYI......I purchased an open box NR70 last year from Best Buy without a CD, I figured I could just find it online and download it....it was such a great deal. When I got home I couldn't find it anywhere, at this point I knew nothing about this site. I went to BB Customer service, and they burned me a copy....always an option if needed.

How big is your email box? My ISP would not let me send a file that large. It needs to be hosted on a server so it can be downloaded.

You can download the Palm Desktop directly from Sony's support site. MS Import/Export can be obtained elsewhere.

Hey anyway to get the software install for the clie I don't have one and I need to reinstall the software mainly cause my screen won't flip anymore

If the screen won't flip anymore after a hard reset, then you have a hardware problem!

Is it the actual screen (hardware) that doesn't turn or when you turn it into tablet mode is what is viewed on the screen upside down? If so, I wouldn't think that would be a hardware problem.

Several in the past have had a hardware problem when the screen wouldn't flip when placed in tablet mode.

Thank you : it worked very well for exchanging information with my clie thru the MS card.
But I still have a problem with Palm Desktop 4.01.
If I launch the synchro request from my palm, my palm gets stuck.
No problem was reported during the installation of Palm Desktop sync manager visible on the task bar.
Do you have any idea about what could be responsible for that problem ? Invalid Hotsync driver ?

I just got used nx60 w/o install cd. I thought I could download from sony's web site:-(
Is that possible to installation cd files emailed(matter of file size)?
At least I need driver for sync with my computer...

I'm looking for an USB driver. Cerberus has the SCSI driver. I did some reading before posting and I still can't find it.

Your previous message made it sound like you were looking for an SCSI driver because a previous one didn't work. Try the attached USB drivers and see if they work

The SCSI driver IS the driver for the Clie. It's only listed exactly how it came off the CD.
