After seeing a similar post for the other way around I am curious. I have a few eBooks which are MSword docs or just .TXT files.

How does one convert word or txt files into eBook format. I prefer MSreader, but would be willing to use another format to get properly fromated files as long as the reader will allow me to "turn pages" in the same way MS reader does.

There was a great program for this from Aportis called doc converter but someone bought them and you can't down load it anymore. But if you can find it. It was great. Just drop your file on it and hit sync when it's done.

DocInOut (http://www.palmblvd.com/software/pc/DocInOut-1999-05-22-palm-pc.html) works great and it's free! I've used it for a couple years with no issues whatsoever.

I use PilotInstall to convert .txt files.

I use Word2Doc. It lets you convert to different formats, doc, isilo, etc directly from Word.

Wordsmith can convert both formats to PalmReader format.
