Hi all
I want to buy a lifedrive recently, but i am quite worried about the battery life of it due to the microdrive, can someone tell me the average battery life of it?

also i read some reviews about lifedrive, sounds it also had a overheat problem during heavy read/write the microdrive, can someone confirm it?

I used to listen music by Life Drive , that is my test:

+) low bright + BT / Wifi off + 416 Mhz = 9hours
+) low bright + BT / Wifi off + 156 Mhz ( I use PXAClocker to underclocking ) = 11 hours and 25 mins.

t also had a overheat problem during heavy read/write the microdrive That is truth .

how about low bright + wifi on for surfing internet? how long it will last? I haven't done that test , I'll try later .

The biggest PDF file I have opened on my Life Drive is Testking 640-801, it is ~ 23 Mb , and the Life Drive took 1.5 mins for open it .

Something I should notice you before you get a life drive

+ It has 4 Gb micro-drive so it will be "lag" when access big applications
+ playing in pTunes ( 3.1.6 deluxe ) sometime has skipping ( nearly 1 second )
+ It takes 2 mins for soft-reset and ~30 mins for hard-reset.
+ It is hard to find compatibility softwares / games for Life Drive.
+ It is easy to be scratched.

That all problem I got with my Life Drive but If you don't feel annoy when have the samething ,you should get it , Life Drive is a cool device . Hope you like your Life Drive as I did .

Ps : sorry about my bad english :(

i use a LD and if you even partially enjoy watching movies on the go youll love it. trust me. my step mother has a tx and i have a LD, shes always pissed at all the extras i have that she doesnt. and if your really worried about battery life you can use a external battery pack, which ill be making for myself and posting up a how to.
