Movie player problem with MS PRO

I got my new MS pro memory stick today...and have downloaded the patch from Sony. Everything appears to work fine (music, and other files), but when I try to play a movie, the movie player progress bar just jumps to end over and over and I have to do a rest to stop the player...any ideas what's up?

Does it do it only on the MS Pro?

In most cases, the problem is the movie file itself.

I got my ms pro yesterday and the same thing happened to me. I tried to download a lot of music files and movie clips at once and they were all skipping. What I did was delete them and download just a few at a time, like 5 and it worked.

i tried to reconvert the movie - which appeared to go smoothly, but i ended up with the sam problem.

ahh i fixed it somehow by putting all the NX patches again - guess it was the MSPRO...

yes reinstal the MS Pro patches and it will work. i had the same problem.
