my lifedrive wont start up

I came home and turned my lifedrive on but the screen was frozen and there was a clicking noise coming from the back. So reset it and for about 10 secs the clicking noise continues but then stops. However it sits at the PalmOne screen...not moving. Ive tried reseting it and Ive tried a quick erase...nothing...HELP!!!

Something similar to this has happen to me twice. I allowed the battery to completely drain overnight. The next morning I connected the charge to the LD and it took about 30 seconds to boot.
