switching from760c to nx70v need help!!!

just upgraded to nx70v and i want to know how i can get all my old datebook info/records to my new device. i beamed memo pad and address but cant beam all my datebook/agendus info? any info would be of great use. i already searched the available posts but to no avail and my new clie manual doesnt tell me how!

You should be able to do a hot synch without any problems. The only problems I ran into was with programs written for OS4 synching on to th OS 5.

Go into the Sony Handheld directory on your PC, There should be a folder with your name. Inside there is a backup folder. (Make a copy of this folder and name it backupold) Go inside the backup and delete all the unimportant stuff like games, hacks(especially these) etc. Leave the addressDB, MemoDB and all the system files.

When you hotsynch, only those that are left in the folder will be synched. You can install the other programs as necessary.

i looked for those backup folders and they are in my palm directory not in my sony one. i went in to the folder from my older device and made a backup copy but where do i put it? does it need to go in my new palm/sony backup or datebook folder? also i am guessing that in the old folder from my old device i should not delete any thing w/ .pdb after it? once i have made a copy, again where should it go and will i screw anything up by doing this.
