Disclaimer: Yes, I did a search. Yes, I spent hours reading all the posts I could find, and checking various websites.

The Vaja I-Volution looks like an outstanding case that combines the best features of its competitors. It's slim, semi-rigid, stylish, and offers great access to all the controls. On top of that it looks great!

My question is: Can you use the case with the NX70 in tablet mode? I almost always have my NX70 in tablet mode, and it looks like the top half of the I-Volution case is fitted to the top half of the NX70. Is it feasible (convenient) to use this case when you only use the NX70 in tablet mode?

I've had my NX70 in a Sena case since they came out, but I just bought a gunmetal grey NX70 w/WiFi from a friend for a great price, and I need a case for it. The Sena is a nice case, but just a wee bit bulky. The I-Volution looks like the way to go.

TIA for any help you can offer!

I only use my NX tablet mode also and the Ivolution case works great for it. I cannot say enough good things about it. I will post a link with some pictures of my NX in the ivolution case including one of it in tablet mode.

Thanks for the info. I would be VERY interested in seeing your pics. The only downside is that the I-Volution doesn't appear to have slots for carrying extra memory sticks. That, and the price. I guess I'll have to sell my wife's SJ33 since she just inherited my old NX70.

How difficult is it to get the PDA out of the case to put it into the cradle?

Ryan:

Thanks for the great pics! The Vaja case looks HOT! Very Impressive! I've got a much better idea of how the case feels from your pics than I do from looking at Vaja's website.

I like to tinker and modify to make life fit, but you're BOLDER than I am with your cradle modification! I don't know if I could bring myself to do that. Gutsy! How well does it work?

It was actually not that hard to do and it is incredibly convenient now that i don't have to take it out of the case. All you need is some pretty basic tools: screwdriver, gluegun, and sander (or dremel tool).
