After I restored all the data from the palm desktop, the Wireless option under Network is no longer available.... I tried to reinstall the *.prc ... no use... help!!

You have to re-install the original WL100 driver again, as well as any system patches.

so I went to sony site reinstall the system patch and the reset... the put in my CD from WL100... install the driver and reset... look under preferences -> Network... on Services, I don't have any option like I used to.... damn it....

Sony support has a newer WL100 driver there that recently was added, highly recommended. Did you look at the drop down services list and select wireless LAN? Most of the time I have had to. Your other settings should still be there, once you find it.

the problem is I don't have the "Wireless Lan" drop down from the services.... com'on people.. don't make me call the support and they probably tell me to do hard reset..... help!!!

Sorry, as long as I have had WiFi, neither my brother or I have encountered your problem! I can't recollect anyone else having a similar issue.
