CodeDiver will do it (but it's not Sharkboy's). It's running happily on my T3, and CodeDiver was originally made for Clies, so I should hope it will work on them too.

Oh yeah -- you can find CodeDiver at Handango: http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=1&jid=FDDB6XAA969XFX8AFE61641748A7F6ED&platformId=1&N=96804&Ntt=CodeDiver&productId=59805&R=59805#overview2

Note that to get NetFront working in CodeDiver you need to follow special instructions -- see here: http://www.1src.com/forums/showpost.php?p=936019&postcount=20

That shows instructions for Picsel Browser, but the directions are the same (Except don't pay attention to anything specific to Picsel like the English Language packs etc.).

StatBarDA will at least get rid of the status bar.

hmm... but what i remember codediver will slow down th55's system, is it true? i wouldn't want to install any apps which will slow down system. but for statbarda, it sounds quite nice so i might try it out. btw is maxx working on th55s properly? i once tryed it out but it didn't work...

First, MaxX does NOT work on the TH55 (or any Sony Clies) as far as I know. Although I've never tried it, I don't even think it would work on my T3 (I don't recall hearing any successes). It's pretty much for the TX and maybe the T5.

Anyway, CodeDiver lets you specify what programs it is being used for, so there shouldn't be much if any system slowdown unless you're in the program set to use CodeDiver. That being said, I never experienced even a hint of slowdown on my T3 (although it does have a faster processor than the TH55, so it may just be less noticeable).

I didn't experience any additional system instability, slowdown, or resets using CodeDiver. I would say try the trial version and see what happens. It would be quite unlikely to ruin your device (the worst that could happen is a hard reset), so I say backup and go for it. If it causes system slowdown, get rid of it. That simple. ;-)

I googled this app and found a lot of hits like, http://balance.balances.com/scales/709. I doubt there is a "PalmOS application", but there are a lot of touch screen scales that look like Palm PDAs (and based on same/similar technology). Good luck.
