There seems to be a new phone:
http://tamspalm.tamoggemon.com/2006/09/19/gspda-launches-m70-smartphone/
It doesn't look like a Treo but like a "normal" mobile phone and uses Garnet 5.4. It has also some additional games (like other Xplore phones).

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
The phone looks neat.
http://tamoggemon.com/blog/contents/2006/September/tham70/m70.jpg Can't wait to play with it in Hong Kong, next month.
My G18 is still going strong after 2 1/2 years of permanent use. Still on original batteries. Says a great deal about the quality of GroupSense phones.
Hope this one is attractively priced and is equipped with a large amount of RAM. The one gripe I have with these phones is the screen size, which is fine for phone functions and important info look-up, but a bit cramped and limited for use as a replacement for a full size PDA.
Another let-down is the fact that a lot of developers don't cater for that screen size. Their apps work fine on the device but are only displayed in the top 2/3 of the screen real estate. CodeDiver could possibly fix that on OS5 devices.

I don't have one but would be interested to buy one. How do you like your M68?
From where did you buy yours, and do you know from where I can buy a spare battery on line. BTW can you give me the exact model & brand of the M68 battery?

Hi,
in germany the m68 is distributed as "hagenuk s200" and
the distribution is stopped. But there are still a lot on ebay
for around 125 Euro which are often replacement devices.
I like the phone :
- 2 GB SD-Card Support
- TomTom 5.12 is running
- Mobipocket with wikipedia is running
Negativ:
- No handsfree with internal speaker and micro
- There is no API-Description for handling the phone
funtionality, so there are no third part phone applications
running
- Continous blinking LED if the phone part is activated
A new accu can be bought in germany at www.mew-shop.de.
Probably they will send against prepayment world-wide.
