With the announcement of the driver launch, thought I'd post this deal for a Viking CF Card (note that eruware lists it as compatible with their driver).

It's $34 for 256mb after mfr. mail-in rebate. You have to buy before April 30th, so I'd decide quick on purchasing it!

Adding to the excitement; ecost is selling Viking 512MB cards for $99.00 and PC Mall has them going for $99.99. Each is with a $50.00 rebate. (I know from other threads how visceral some of you feel about rebate programs!) But thought that I'd pass this along.
Naturally, you can almost purchase 3-256MB cards for the same amount listed above. Guess it depends on how you plan to use the cards and whether you want to keep track of several cards or increase the risk of losing a single card.

I missed the 1GB Viking deal from Amazon. Now it is listed as 272.99. Damn... The 1GB simpletech seems to be nicet too, but the rebate will expire the april 30th. I might not get the rebate if they take long to ship.

Now, I'm looking everywhere for 1GB CF cards. Man... where are the hot deals.

Keep an eye on BensBargains.net (http://www.bensbargains.net) and TechBargains.com (http://www.techbargains.com). They list all the best online deals all the time. Both sites are updated several times a day so I check quite frequently.

Viking's deal is a bit on the shady side - they state free shipping for orders over $50, but then add a $5.95 handling fee. I think this is a deceptive practice. It's still a pretty good deal though.
