View Full Version : Sony Clie PEGNX73V, MS does not stick in the slot

Hi,
Any one can help me how my Clie (Sony NX73V) shall held MS in its slot. (Whenever I insert the MS in its slot it comes out) and I can use MS. I want to use Wireless LAN card. Can any member guide me where to get it and how much is the approximate cost.

It sounds like the spring is messed up. It shouldn't be too hard to just open it out and take the springs out. Just be careful.

As I could not fix the the problem of MS, I stopped using my clie since June 06. Hello, Jiggasonic, I opened but did not take the risk to open the core. I think, you youngsters can fix it. Contacted Sony's dealer and frustated to know their charge of $145.00 only to fix the inside spring. If any one interested, I like to sell my favorite Clie. you will find no scratch, just as new. I have all acccessories, software, manuals sent by manufacturer, beside I will give you one Memory stick, Compact Flash Card. Give me good offer so that I can buy a clie. Thanks for reading.

It sounds like the spring is messed up. It shouldn't be too hard to just open it out and take the springs out. Just be careful.

Hi dragonsgames,

As per your advice I opened the back cover for fixing the MS setting problem (MS comes out does not stay inside). But it seems to me too risky to open tiny screws to see the spring. You young guy can do it easily. Can I send my Clie to you or take to you for fixing that. For almost two years I'm not using my clie. Thanks.
