I use the Image Converter to place (after conversion) a .mov file onto my MS. When I attempt to play it using MovePlay only the first frame is shown and my NX locks up; I have to perform a Soft Reset.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Hrm. Try re-installing the image converter? It could be your device being falty. Are you sure it's the image converter? Have you tried other movies? I say reinstall it first. After that...well...uh...that's where you wait for another person who knows more than I do about these things (shouldn't be hard...).

Sounds to me that the file you are converting has issues. I am not a movie buff, but there is a ton of threads that you can peruse through for answers.

I agree this is probably a converting format issue, most likely sound related.

Thanks for your help.
I've looked through other threads and so for found a few people having the same problem as me but no fix.
I've tried converting different movies; all have the same problem. Also tied re-installing IC.

Do you by any chance have the Belkin keyboard driver installed? One of the recent (not the latest) versions was having exactly that effect on mine.

Have all the files you tried been .mov files? Seems like those don't always work as good as some other formats.

No Belkin keyboard.
Yes all the movies I've trived are .mov. Maybe I should try and get an .avi.
I played around with Kinoma Producer a little and that worked on my .mov files but only with Mono sound. I assume KP doesn't support Stereo sounds on the NX has the Kinoma Player always returns an error if I convert a movie and specify Clie sound.

I converted the .mov to a .avi then converted that to my NX and it worked fine. Looks like Image Converter doesn't like to convert .mov on my Clie

Convert the sample videos that came with the Clie CD, one is a dolphin video and a dog video and they both work.
