My T3 turns on every once in a while discharging the battery. I have nothing in the calendar. Does anyone know how to stop this? My battery runs out every 2 or 3 days even though I haven't used it.

This should do the trick:

Don't be fooled by a cure-all software. While it may stop unwanted power-ups, it won't stop your battery from being dead after 2-3 days.
Your T3 is always on, always running. Your screen may not be turned on, but it is always running. This is how all Palm handhelds work. How else do you think your alarms, etc, work? You'll need to keep better track of when your battery runs low, and get better at charging it overnight.

Hello bobcmay
What apps are you running on your device ?
I had issues with DigiE (it could have been DigiFix too ... anyhow, it needs to be kept on SD card to prevent unexpected power on's)
Another troublesome app I used in the past was either BatteryTime or BatMonitor (I can't recall anymore which one it was)

You probably have an old battery if the device is fairly used. Could just be fast battery drain. My T3's drop dead after 2 weeks of no charging max.

No, I don't think your palm runs when it is powered off. Of course it runs, but not on full consumption like when turned on. It will last much longer when turned off. I agree with holvoetn. Problem is probably app like digifix or digie. If you use them, just move them to your card and you will be allright.

It varies with different models, but in general when a Palm OS device is "turned off" (in sleep mode):
Display is not powered.
CPU is not powered.
Memory is powered, but a lower standby level.
Clock is powered.
Bluetooth radio receive is powered (optional).

This serves for a different purpose.
I suggest you check your third party apps.

Back to the problem at hand.
In order for the device the "turn on", it must have received some event. Possible events include: A button push.
A Bluetooth message (if allow wakeup is enabled).
An alarm.
Cosmic Rays. :D Of these the most like, I think, would be an alarm. Note, an application could have set an alarm, that when it goes off, the application performs some maintenance task and does not actually sound an alarm or display a dialog box. With this in mind, I would suggest installing the application "Alarms? (http://www.freewarepalm.com/clock/alarms.shtml)" on your device. This will display a list of all the application on your device that have set an alarm, and at what time. From this, you may be able to figure out what is going on.
I once had an application on my device; I think it was suppose to do a periodic Bluetooth Hotsync once a day. Well, if it was unable to perform the operation (e.g. out of range), it then continued to try every 5 minutes until the device was dead.
