Hi Everyone,

I've been looking for a Flash Player / Viewer for my NR70V, but fail to find one. Does anyone know if they exist? I looked at one site in Hong Kong that said that they have done it, but unfortunately, they don't have a link to any software (I've left them a msg - but who knows when they will get back ;-).

Thanks in advance.

Paul

The player/viewer comes as part of the NX series...and will only run on those platforms

I visited that same site in search of the flash player for my NR. I found the link to download the palyer and convereter for NT, but found that it was very limited. No vector art, no sound, and no resollution greater than 120 by something. For me it was useless.

I deleted the whole 9 megs. Sorry that I don't have it anymore.

If I remember correctly, I read that the processor in the NR series doesn't have the tools to support Flash media. The NX and other newer PDAs do. The latest Palm OS also is required, and the NR cannot be upgraded to that, I believe. Too bad. As a Flash designer, I would have loved that.

I believe Kinoma Producer will convert flash movies to Kinoma Player files, but it doesnt support audio or interactivity.

yes this is correct. You can convert flash files to quicktime and then to kinoma. The NR's do not have the horsepower to create vectors nor does the os4.1 support flash natively.
