So, my problem is with battery. After two years of intensive usage, my Zire 72 is dying. My battery is drying werry quickly. I recharge the Zire all the night usigh his charger, and in morning, after disconect, I have only 23% energy. And is drying werry quickly. Any help? Is needed to replace the accu? And If yes, the question is from where? Im living in europe, in Spain, so if you know a good european site with accus and spareparts for Zires please post the link. Thx in advice.

try a hard reset followed by a soft reset while connected to charger

Well, I figured out. Now my battery is working perfectly.

A short tutorial for anybody with the same problems.

Open the Zire following the next instructions:
http://www.palminfocenter.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29420&sid=035313f73a6ea1233d129280472558d8

After that, disconnect the battery, clean all the parts of the zire and after that solder with adhesive tape and girder all around the entire screen+digitizer.

Now my zire is working perfectly and also dont have anymore this bad sound you all knows. Now my Zire is SILENT. :)
