yes very nice... WAY better than AIM. I swear with AIM, you're just asking for a hard reset.

It seems like with verichat, everytime I exit, it logs me off of aim? Then when I keep going home and then returning to the verichat program, I get booted off of AOL because of too many log ons and log offs. Anyone with the same problem? I couldn't seem to fix it otherwise. The AIM 1.1 keeps me logged in regardless of if I exit and re-enter the program. Thanks.

Me too but i forget to sign off. When i get on again i get a bunch of messages saying, "are you there?"
Gotta remeber to sign off. swithing to another program or shutting down doesn't log you out.

bucalo9, everytime I switch to another program, when I go back to Verichat, I am taken back into the first "Connect" Screen which asks me to Connect to AIM proxy. Didn't I just get logged off and now need to relog in?
Under "Account Info" (for my AIM) I can select the checkbox option which allows me to "Automatically Connect when VeriChat is launched" but when I exit Verichat, and enter it again, the program tries to "Connect to AIM proxy" again. This causes my AIm to no longer log me on. It's kinda annoying if you ask me.
how do you set it up?

also often times I get error msgs saying that "the user is offline and may not get the msg"
when the user is clearly online.

yes, mine is set to auto and when I change programs and return I am reconnected, but should have remained logged into the service.
do you stay in other programs for long periods before returning?

I see a new version is for sale, v1.58 I think.
Anyway to upgrade? What's new?
