I'm making a map for Legacy and need some beta testers.

Party should be lvl. 25+ , entrance is Grendelmoore.

I already thought about a german version, i thought to do that after the map is finished. :)

That idea with the confession is good, will insert it in the map.
Actually i#m thinking about what the priest will tell you when hearing that you killed 100 amazons. :D

Hi Doeni! I've got a few word corrections... Forgive me if these have already been brought to your attention :)

1. George in Town says "If you need more infos..." s/b info or information
2. Forester Bill in Town - "Could you cull that rabid..." s/b kill (unless you actually want us to gather up/select the bear and not make him dead)
3. Information girl - wich s/b which
4. Theila - peacefull s/b peaceful

That's it for now... I've downloaded the most current map so I'll start over with that before I go much further. :D

mmm, the file does not exist there in this moment... maybe later.

- I am in the city right now, same remarks as PinCushionQueen mentioned plus small typo "my daughter is also from Grendelmore" (or lives in Grendelmore or something like that, my poor memory...)
- Nice idea of Ice dragon heart in training room!
- Is it any possibility to wash blind manīs clothes? It would be excellent side quest I think.
- The city - from my point of view there is too much too valuable objects in the barrels. To find a crown (for example) - it should be an amazing accident for the player I think, not a common practice - as it is. But it is just opinion of mine...
- And last question - when I kill all that beasts of the training room in the city and I am returning back, door asks me "have you got enough?" - no, I have not, I killed all of them and no others left. So this question is nonsense for me. I have no idea how to change it (I am not a game maker, just player, I do not know whether it is possible to make different door questions according to different game state...)

Martinek, please tell me the person's name, i wrote so many dialogs, i don't know who says that sentence. :p

Good Idea with the blind man, will do that. Actually i'm working on some other things, but i'll add that quest. :D

The most barrels are auto-filled, i used the lowest items possible, the crowns are mostly unusable, no AC or special things, you can only sell them.
If others are of the same opinion, i'll change it but at my opinion they're low enough. :)

The thing with the door....
normally there should appear another message after you killed them,
i'll check it.
Have you already found the person that wants the sword?

Really could not remember the persons name and the city is so big so i have no taste to check it one more time. But in following versions of your map I swear I will try to focus of this name.

Barrels - just an idea, do not resolving it...

Doors - Yes, I killed them all (Ice dragon was the last I suppose). Yes, i know about the sword collector, now I am trying to find him. The city is really interlaced (that is nice, not a mistake!)

New things:
Excellent idea with the graveyard! The ghost was unexpected! But, after killing him and tapping to the tombstone again, it tells me "A ghost appears, the grave is your, stranger" - again, but there is no more ghosts...

Grave watering - next thing to praize. Comment: I had to water the graves two times till the quest was solved (and I am pretty sure I did not missed any in my first round). That is the purpose?

As mentioned, "Find the key to unbid Helena" quest was not deleted from questbook after solving. Catacombs seems very empty to me - I will welcome one or two spiders to intersperse (actually, from the entry to Church area there is no creature to fight...)

Last but not least: One door, 10 switches (not 12!). Very nice puzzle, I spent about ten minutes with moaning (and griping). Thx. I am curious what comes next, after "construction" :)

Fixed that thing with the ghost.

That with the graves is no purpose, i only did'nt find a way to get it with one time watering. (Cat, please help! :o )
I modified the rector text a little, he now says ''water every grave two times"

The helena quest should be set solved in the new version.

The same with the 12 switches, fixed it.

You'll have to wait a little for the next part, actually i'm making the existing areas look nicer.

At World of danega i posted the actuall storyline i worked out with caker.

actually there's no possibility to unlock the doors, but i''ll surely add one later.

It's at the (current) end of the catacombs.

Since i'm German, i don't know english riddles.

i have played the begin of version 9 at the weekend, and i think it will be a great map, if its finished... Until now its a great job...

I only played until the ghetto yet because i was at the "Volksfest" in stuttgart yesterday... ;) but this evening i will go on playing version 11 (btw where can i download it??)
Until now i have found only one little bug: I haf found the monocle for the old man in the west quarter and brought it to him but the quest is still in my questlog and the old man is still asking for his monocle.

Yes, i update frequently, but most times i only change little things. :D

comments & questions - version 20

- the ring of bartenderīs wife (Gal.woods) is now unreacheable - there is a tree at the same place as the ring is located. I see a ring AND a tree in one square, so I cannot pick up the ring... so I cannot get into treasury room...

- after finishing Jennaīs quest (drunken husband, east quart.) the quest is not removed from the list, moreover, Jenna is repeatedly giving me money and XP when i talking to her

- the Beast (catacombs, left way after the decision key) - previously called Leviathan, but not now - has still Leviathanīs fur

- the tunnel (connecting the church district and the house in the center of gal.woods) contains two holes, which are fakes (I am not sure whether this is purpose or not)

- small typo "multiplied by number of your toes divided..."

Questions
- what is "Pick-axe" for? (I bought it, it was quite expensive)
- what is "Tolothīs Necklace" for? (got from Toloth (Ghetto) as a reward for news about his Helena (prison in Catacombs)
- I killed Thomas and Gregor, the last active door seems to be just connection between church district and graveyard. Is that right or I missed someone/something?

- Jenna quest should also be fixed in v 21
- I'll rename the fur in v 22
- will also fix the typo

The axe has no special use, perhaps i'll add a gallery later where you can dig with that axe...
Tolot's necklace has also no special use yet.
If those two items are unsellable, i will change this.

For the third traitor:
- search for hidden switches on the wall of the district-graveyard connection

Two doors are OK, third asks me "Leave" instead of "Enter" and neither Yes nor No buttons do nothing...

Cannot say, i have this area already explored.

Jennaīs quest now works fine.

Frank Lucifer is dead, nevertheless I cannot get out of his room - the door is locked and there is no key. Plenty of walls which can be pulled down, but all with dead ends. No key, no secret switch... Did I missed something?

Did you enter Lucifer's room by the door?
If so, you had the version where i did a little mistake, normally you should enter the room by pulling down the walls starting in the room with the fountains, then leave the room with the key you get from Lucifer.
Try v 23, you should be able to leave there.

I'm playing the beta and have run into a problem finding Gregor Ween. I can't seem to get by the switches. I got the clue, but it doesn't seem to be working. am I missing something.

Gregor ween is the person that can be killed outside, the tunnel exit is in the woods, there you should find him.

The tunnel with the switch is called ''stash'', the exit is at the graveyard. Lucifer hides in the tunnel.

This one is hard, very hard. After about half an hour I pondered about spend a lot of many for the hint... Finally I solved this riddle, but with a lot of nasty words :D

Frank Lucifer are works fine in v.24, letīs go to kill the fourth traitor...

Doeni, have you got any idea of the following part of the storyline? Talk to us! :)

Cat, the idea of roulette wheel (mentioned at World of Danega) is great! (eg "spin your life, choose the way we will kill you..." by the spinned color the adequate colored dragon will appear...) :eek:

I'll think about that roulette. We could use it in storyline 1(see below),
when you've gotten captured by cult members, you can choose how to get killed. (russian roulette! :D )

About the story I'm not completely sure:

After the last traitor is killed, cult will start open fight.
Then i have different Ideas for the storyline:

1.) The cult captured the town mayor, took him to another town where they hide him, you have to go to the town. As you arive there, you see that the hole town is full of cult members, most of the citizens defected to the cult's religion, only some are still clear in mind and started a resistive group wich now acts in secrecy. You could join them and make attacks on the cult, free the town mayor, etc. . The town could be controlled by cult guards, e.g if you step on the wrong postion (the route of a guard) you could get captured and be taken to prison.... Ideas are welcome :)

2.) Short ending: You kill all the cult members in town, and the game is over. :)


Other story ideas are of course very welcome. :) :) :)

I tested the lucifer stash myself, and I wasn't able to leave the tunnel at the west end (Where you get to the graveyard). Perhaps it's because i used an older save file?! Does the graveyard exit work fine?

I'm actually stucked with the development of the map, there are some problems, perhaps because of the size.I hope we get rid of them. If not , I'll split Galinhola in 2 seperate maps, the one map until the kidnapping of the mayor, the second part for the new town. (btw, the town's name will be ''Laguan Village'').

Doeni, because of the 50+ legacy bug (and my dilatory approach to backups) I need some time to bring up a new party - strong enough to survive in Galingola.
So I cannot try the last version, maybe in a week...

Iīm trying to play with all-mage party (as gyffes do), it is absolutely different style of the game - sometimes more effective, sometimes hard as hell...

And why I speak about it: compared with my previous party I am using (I have to :eek: ) the Clean Way spell more often. I dream about the staff which can cast this spell... or, no, it should not be a staff, it should be... broom... BROOMSTICK :D

If you want to make a favour for me, create the broomstick and give it to my personification (credits hall), with words of "you probably cannot sweep all worldīs garbage - but you can try it. And at the end, when all magic is gone, you can still beat your enemies to their heads..." :D

Yes, playing with a all-mage party is vey different to a "normal" constellation.

It is a privilege to do that for you! :D

in the zip-file of v27, i unfortunately named the pdb-file "Galinhola2".
Just want to ensure you, this is the Galinhola 1 file, it was a mistake of mine, hope it's not misleading. :)

And I'm working on the german translation of galinhola, huge work, but i think i'll have finished it during next week, we have vacances now ( :D :D :D).

And the Galinhola story keeps on:
I already started a new expansion, continuing the story in
"the City of Laguan".

I am currently at or near the end of the quest. I think I have killed all 5 of the traitors but when I go back to report to the Mayor he just says "Thanks" and nothing more happens. Is this the current end of the map awaiting resolution of the next stage or have I stuffed something up or missed a traitor?

You found a bug, thanks! I'll upload a new version this day, with some other changes.
After all the traitors are killed, you normally find a the council destroyed and the mayor kidnapped, and this is the current end of the story (I'll continue in Galinhola II).

Some questions to the current testers:
- Does the connection "Lucifer's stash - graveyard work"? (a ladder at the west end of tunnel)
- Does the quest with the drunkard (the husband who is on a booze) work?

Some questions to the current testers:
- Does the connection "Lucifer's stash - graveyard work"? (a ladder at the west end of tunnel)
- Does the quest with the drunkard (the husband who is on a booze) work?

Doeni, I just finished v.28 with my new party and I did not found any crucial errors - great job! :)
Just one notice - I cannot accomplish the last quest - due to the storyline, so it stays in my questlog. Will be this quest removed in G2?

And (of course) I offer my device (and head) to betatesting G2...

That's a really good message!

I'll remove that last quest, cause i'm now almost sure it won't be possible to remove it in another map, the expansion will be uploaded during the weekend.
