Corrupted Apps?

I can't open either Clie Files or Clie Viewer (new versions), because I get a system error each time. Is there a way to delete these and reinstall? I've tried to reinstall over the apps but it doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated. BTW, the apps' icons are appearing as generic icons.

Have you tried a hard-reset, that will bring you back to day 1.
