Hi All,

I have an SJ30 which I have dusted off after it has been out of use for a year. Is it possible to use an SJ30 to surf the web (mainly text based sites)?

I have a desktop PC connected to a wireless router but would like to surf from my front room (where the router is). As far as I know the SJ30 will not run a WIFI memory stick as it is OS4.

Do I have any chance of connecting to the web? If so what software/hardware would I need?

Sorry for the "Dump it all on a forum" kind of question but I thought it would get be started quicker.

Thanks in advance for any answers.

If I'm not wrong there was an app on desktop pc that would act as a router for your handheld, but you need to connect it via the sycn cable.

Do you want a wireless connection ?

Hi Suppaman,

Thanks for your reply. Idealy yes, I was figuring bluetooth but that would mean a dongle in the Clie and on my PC. I think I have to give up the idea of getting an OS4 Clie on the net wirelessly.

Cheers

Yes I think 0S4 isn't the best choice for that.

Maybe a Newton MP2100 could do the job ;-)
